Growing as Teachers
Course Description:
Teaching Sunday School is a beautiful responsibility and opportunity. The "Growing as Teachers" training has been created to support the Sunday School teaching staff of the Apostolic Christian Church. This course includes practical training for both beginning and seasoned Sunday School teachers to grow in their craft. Content in the course has been tailored to meet the unique needs of teachers in both the younger and older grades.
Course Goals:
- To be informed: Sunday School teachers will be taught sound concepts for teaching.
- To be motivated: Sunday School teachers will be inspired to teach.
- To be equipped: Sunday School teachers will be given a practical skillset to use in their teaching.

Course Expectations:
- Users should expect to spend 45 - 75 minutes per lesson.
- Helpful resources are linked within the course to assist application.
Additional Notes:
This course can be completed individually or in a group. There would be additive value by participating as a co-student with your co-teacher. Each lesson raises apt reflections that facilitate dialogue between co-teachers. The Learning Connection platform facilitates communication between participants enrolled in the same group. That is, your fellow participants can see your entries and you will be able to see theirs. In this way, you learn together.
