Prayer: the key to a close walk

This Bible study on prayer seeks to help you examine your prayers and prayer life for the purpose of learning to pray more effectively, ultimately resulting in a closer walk with God. Effective prayers are powerful, accomplish much, and produce results that advance and bring glory to God's kingdom. A fervent prayer life draws us to the heart of God where we find a haven of rest amidst the turmoil of life.

In this study we will examine what the Bible says about what prayer is, what prayer is not, when prayers are answered, and when prayers are not answered. We will look at how Jesus taught the disciples to pray and how His teachings can be applied to your own life.

The study is arranged in 12 lessons, and is designed for individual or small group use. In each lesson you will be spending time in the Word reading the suggested references in context, and then personalizing these principles to bring vitality into your prayer life and deepen your walk with God.
