James says, “God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6) God also wants us to have a willingness to enter service recognizing that we may not be fully ready. We should not resist God’s work for that reason. We also cannot say, “we have it all figured out.” We must be both willing to serve and willing to grow. Let’s take a deeper look and then consider how we might apply it as an Apostolic Christian Church.
